These are some clips of my in-class Scene Study work. Sometimes we go right through the whole scene, sometimes we’re coached in the midst so we can try different approaches and bring the level of our performances up.

Scene Context: Florence’s husband has asked for a divorce, so after wandering around listlessly all day, Florence goes to her best friend Olive’s apartment to look for comfort and bemoan her hardships.

Scene Context: Susie Keegan is the 19 year old daughter of movie director Walter Keegan (scene partner: David McEachern). Susie’s mother passed away the previous year and her father already seems to have moved on.

Scene Context: Mary Jane is an overworked, yet compassionate, public defender who’s been tasked with defending Angel Cruz (scene partner: Danee Japa) from an attempted murder charge. She mixes up Angel and another of her clients, leading the scared and angry Angel to lash out and make a legal blunder.
